The 3M Versaflo S-855E Respirator Hood is a lightweight, disposable PAPR headtop designed to provide reliable respiratory, face, and eye protection in hazardous work environments. Manufactured from a chemical-resistant spunbond polypropylene fabric with a multi-layer barrier film, it offers exceptional coverage and durability for professionals working with particulates, liquid splash, and low-energy impact risks.
The hood features an inner collar and extended outer shroud, covering the head, face, neck, and shoulders for added safety. A coated polycarbonate visor ensures clear vision while protecting against liquid splash and impact hazards. When connected to a 3M Versaflo powered air respirator system (TR-300, TR-600, or Jupiter), it delivers a continuous flow of filtered air to reduce breathing resistance and user fatigue.
Disposable and replaceable, the S-855E hood is ideal for environments requiring strict contamination control and hygiene compliance. For extended use, replaceable S-805E over-hoods are available separately.
